Spring & Summer Residence Accommodations

Dates
The Summer 2024 term in Residence will run from May 1, 2024 until Friday August 23th, 2024. Students are able to book for arrival and departure on dates of their choosing during the Summer 2024 term, but must stay for a minimum of 1 month.
Students who are currently living in Residence for the Winter 2024 term and will be continuing their stay beginning May 1 are able to stay in Residence between April 19 and May 1 at no additional charge, but may be required to move during this time. Similarly, students who are living in Residence for the summer and continuing to live in Residence for the Fall 2024 term are able to stay between terms. No other students will be permitted to stay past August 23th, 2024.
Eligibility
In order to live in Residence during Summer 2024 term, you must either:
- Have been enrolled as a student during the Winter 2024 term:
and/or
- Be registered in at least one course for the Summer 2024 intersession terms.
Accommodations and Meals
Wheelock Dining Hall will not be open during the summer months. Students staying in Summer Accommodations are required to prepare their own meals. The Residence Life Office will provide students with communal pots and pans at the beginning of the summer. Please do not remove these from the kitchen(s), and ensure that they are washed after use.
Students are permitted to use the communal fridges in the kitchen(s) within the residence to store their food. However, Residence Life is not responsible for any lost or stolen items from the communal fridges, or the kitchen(s) in general.
Residence Fees
The fees below are based on staying for the entire summer term. If your stay is less than this period, this amount will be prorated based on the actual number of days you have stayed to a minimum of one month. Please note that the fees for double rooms and deluxe double rooms have been raised as these are larger rooms and single occupancy (i.e. no roommate) is guaranteed for the summer term. Please note that these are the fees for Summer 2022; prices are subject to change for Summer 2023.
