Important Steps

  1. Accept Your Offer

Accept your offer and create your network account. Your network account is a single username and password that you will use to login to most resources on campus. Once your admission has been processed, you can follow the link in your "My Next Steps" tab of your Application Status Page to set your initial password.

    You'll gain access to:
    - Colleague Self-Service Portal: This is your main student account, where you’ll register for courses, etc.
    - StarRez: Where you’ll apply for Residence.

After you’ve registered for courses, your username and password will allow you to connect to Wifi, print on campus, access Microsoft 365, the Moodle course platform, and more.

  2. Apply to Residence

After you’ve accepted your offer of admission, paid your confirmation deposit, and activated your network account, you can apply to residence.

Visit our Residence Life website to learn more about the different residence living options, meal plans, costs, and more.

  3. Apply for scholarships by March 1

If you are eligible for scholarships, you will receive an initial entrance scholarship offer when you are admitted to your program. The deadline to apply and still receive an entrance scholarship offer is March 1st. All additional scholarships will be awarded by mid-March.

  4. Pay deposit fees

All university fees must be paid by the first day of classes each year. However, there are some deposits you will need to pay in advance, like enrolment and residence deposits.

Your residence deposit of $200 can be paid as soon as you apply to residence. You have a better chance of securing your preferred room/building, by paying your deposit and getting your name on the list.

  5. Register for courses

Course registration takes place in the spring. After you have accepted your offer of admission and paid your confirmation deposit you will receive an email with course registration details in advance of registration opening. You can find more information on registering for courses here. Please ensure you have selected your classes as soon as registration opens, in order to secure a spot in required courses.
